Yu's power allows her to utilize earth around her as a trapping mechanism. She can use the earth under her enemies to encase around their feet, causing immobilization of their legs. The drawback of her power is that te moisture in her body slowly evaporates, which will cause her to dehydrate over-time as she uses the ability. She can also create very tough daggers out of rocks to utilize in combat, although the daggers are not stronger than metal.

Yu was born into a poor, abusive family. It was tough for her at school because she was born mute, which means she can't talk. This was also bad for when she was at home because she couldn't yell, speak, or scream for help when her father would beat her... She was a very good girl, despite the beatings she received for no reason. At school, she usually skipped classes, because life had not much meaning for her. This also caused her to get a terrible GPA.

When she reached the age of 13, she had been accepted into Gear King Academy, although she was enrolled into Class Rank F. She was happy and excited because she was getting away from her family. Anything would be acceptable for her, as long as she was no longer with those abusive assholes. She has no way of communicating with people other than writing things down in a notebook, head gestures, or facial expressions.
